About the Business Blogging Guide

My name is Wendy but I am better known as The Computer Lady and have been since 1996. I started this guide for business owners who want to learn about blogging, how it can benefit their online business, and how they can have a blog without having it take over their life. However, as I have learned more about blogging my main focus has changed a bit and now this site is all about the business of blogging - whether you are a business owner, a mom wanting to stay at home with your children but make some money, or someone who wants to learn how to blog as a business - this site is for you. I will teach you what I have learned so you too can become a successful blogger no matter what you reason is for starting a blog.

Many bloggers who teach about blogging focus specifically on making money online. While that is definitely a part of blogging, myfocus is more rounded as I teach you specifics on:

I write from the point of view of a business owner and now a full-time blogger. I used to be a computer training consultant and web designer and have over 15 years of experience teaching people how to use their computer and the Internet. I also spent a lot of time troubleshooting computers and network problems, and instructing in classroom settings so I have a well rounded background that helps me understand how it all fits together.

Because of my instruction and troubleshooting skills I have always been able to breakdown sometimes confusing topics into basic terms anyone can read and understand. Computers can be confusing because there is so much to learn and know about them. The Internet is no exception because it changes all of the time. And, as a business owner your main focus is on running your business and making money to stay in business. I hope to help you create and maintain a blog without a lot of added work or stress to your already busy day.

There is only one blogger I have really learned from over the past 6 months and that would be Grizzly from his How to Make Money Online for Beginners blog. I have read many other bloggers that teach how to blog but I like the styles of these particular bloggers. You should check them out because I know you could learn a lot from them as well.
