BizLaunchBlog: The Adventures as a New Online Business Owner

BizLaunchBlog is a brand new blog designed and maintained by JMichael (the cute little guy with the crazy hairdoo to your right). I'm lovin' the glasses!

Just why did he start this blog and venture into a new online world of writing about his life and adventures? Well, you see, he decided that he wanted to start an online business and while researching his options for this business he decided, "Well, I have made the decision to begin an online business and, since I will be going through all of the steps anyway, I thought: why not document the whole process?"

Let me be the first to welcome you to my reality internet site that focuses on planning, launching and promoting a (hopefully) profitable business online. You will have the opportunity to follow me, step-by-step, as I launch a brand new online business....I am going to keep you regularly updated on all that transpires - the good, the bad and the ugly.

He and his wife have a "tribe," as he calls it, of 6 children. Man - I thought 3 were a handful. His wife works outside of the home 4 days out of the week and in today's episode we find him trying to find something she can do at home instead. www.bizlaunchblog.com/?p=19

I suggested to him that he check out http://www.business-opportunities.biz/ and workathomemomrevolution.blogspot.com which are 2 blogs I read regularly that focus on working at home and good, solid business ventures.

This is what I knowI would also suggest (that is, if he is reading this) that he check out the Problogger.net Jobs Board. Darren and his crew crank out some of the best online job listing on the net.

Of course, many of these jobs focus on writing but isn't that what many of us are doing when we blog. So, why not get paid for it.

You can visit the Problogger's Job Board by going here jobs.problogger.net

I am all too familiar with the world of online business. Three years ago my husband and I started Limauge Boutique (www.limaugeboutique.com). You see, back in 2001 we won a $25,000 trip to france from Forbes.com and that kind of changed everything for us.

Running a retail business isn't as easy as you think. You have to find products to sell, setup a website, get a business name, come up with a brand, find customers, fulfill orders, and keep your customers coming back.

We now have our own product line and wholesale our products all of the world, wholesale.limaugeboutique.com, but it is still very much a challenge as when we started 3 years ago.

This is my first post about Biz Launch Blog but we will definitely be keeping tabs on JMichael and his adventures (or maybe misadventures) in starting and running a successful online business.
